The owners decided to close for the Eclipse weekend so they could go see it in Jackson. Little did they realize the local bar and grill would sell out of their whiskey by noon on Monday. I got the last shot. Will have to make the 4 hour drive again to check out the factory as I hear they give tours 9am to 3pm daily.
Cute place. Not a whiskey drinking so I can't comment on the taste.
Really interesting free tour of a working distillery that operates on just 9 staff. Friendly and informative tour guide shared lots of information about the processes involved and offered free tasting season at the end of the tour. Highly recommended if in the Kirby area.
By far the best and no after taste. Shared bottle from batch 41with a crown drinker..he switched to Wyoming whiskey bourbon because no awefull aftertaste.
I don't drink, but the bottles i got for xmas presents were a total hit, all my friends loved the whiskey.
